Hi, it is me, Laura
Dear visitor,
My name is Laura Faux, a Colombian woman who has lived in Austria since 2013.
I am a migrant living in Vienna learning about the local language and the culture. But this learning is not just one way, I also represent and teach my culture to the locals. As Colombian, I am not only a migrant, with Hola Colombia I am gladly also an ambassador.
Based on my own need to find the Colombian taste in this city and after an unsuccesfull search for Colombian sweets, I decided to start an online shop for Colombian groceries and utensils myself. By one hand, I have gotten the technical support from my husband from the start and due to my expertise in sales, advertising and logistic, I am in charge of communicate and sale.
Having this job has been the most fun way to work for me because I can balance live, rising kids and manage a business. Additionally, by bringing the Colombian kitchen to many homes I have got in touch with so many nice and interesting people these years. Hola Colombia is a perfect match for me: challenges and relationships, just what I like the most.
